Bruce interviews Jesse Wroblewski, CEO of Generations Beyond out of Mastic Beach- Jesse has been doing graphic design and front end web development for over 12 years and has worked on several projects with Hot Web Ideas, but it is his vision about how we does business that is the highlight of this podcast episode.
http://www.liveituptvshow.com/ has been making waves on the web and I interviewed co-host Donna Drake. I met Donna Drake during the early days of the Long Island Podcast Network and she was funny, animated, but professional and an excellent entrepreneur to interview on a video podcast. Donna is a marketing powerhouse and she is up on social networking, social media, and of course, Online Marketing. Check it out!
Bruce interviews Michele Michaels, an incredible business networker on the Long Island business networking scene and the owner of MGM Realty and It’s A Sign.

This Twitterer’s bio is Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy when you THINK, PLAN, EXECUTE -JaWar: Motivational Speaker, Author, Business Consultant GOJAWAR.COM and it shows.
I want to thank everyone for coming to the online marketing seminar at the West Babylon Panera on August 19.
We had over 15 business owners and marketing executives come to the seminar to find out the strategies of marketing your business on popular social networking web sites like Facebook and Twitter. I planned to speak about Linked In, but we did not have time. So, I will work that into the next seminar.
The event started with a half hour of networking among the businesses from 8:00 to 8:35 AM and then we started the seminar. I went right into the marketing strategies on Twitter.
Check out this video:
I also blurted out the secrets to increasing sales on your web site. here is a video clip from that section of the seminar:
I also want to thank Mario Puglia for a very compelling testimonial of yesterday’s seminar (Thanks, Mario!):
I attended Bruce’s online marketing event seminar. He drew a nice crowd and was able to cover his agenda within the allotted time frame & throw in some networking time on top of that. He was very informative & knowledgeable on all the topics he discussed. I learned several things that weren’t clear to me before this seminar. I would highly recommend anyone to attend any of his future seminars. Chances are that you’ll be seeing me there when you show up.
I hope to see everyone at the next seminar and networking event.
Bruce
More misconceptions about the way Google ranks your web site on their search engine. It seems that our clients are always asking if we can get them to #1 on Google or at least the first page. My answer is always the same: If you give Google something to rank high, then they will rank you high.
Ok, what does that mean? Well, one of the basic principles of getting good Google rankings is to change the content of your web site often. The more often you change your web site, the more often Google spiders will visit your web site and index it. The opposite is true as well. The LESS you change your web site, the less Google will visit your web site and index it.
So, that proves that Google does not index web sites. It indexes web site content. Of course, it needs a vehicle to showcase that content: yup, you guessed it, your web site is that vehicle.
Changing your web site with fresh new content is what Google is looking for. You can update the home page, your blog, your videos, etc. Give Google fresh content and they will come back often. Web site content is the food for Google spiders’ diets. Your web site just goes along for the ride.
How does Hot Web Ideas help you attract those hungry Google spiders?
At Hot Web Ideas, we can help you update that content with any of our three easy-to-use content management systems, 2 blogging platforms, or we can update the changes for you. These Google spiders are hungry and they are always looking for new content to chew. Give it to them and your web site will get caught in the web.
Hello web site owners, it is the gang at Hot Web Ideas and we always find it a good thing to let all of our web design clients know what is going on with YOUR web site. This is our first client newsletter in two years. I hope you stay subscribed to this newsletter, because as our web design and online marketing clients, we want to keep you educated about how to promote your web site, request new services, and more.
The Hot Web Ideas Client Blog is more than just a newsletter. We give you access to all of the web sites that we designed in the last few years to give you TONS of ideas that you can request from us for your web site. We also tell you the latest technologies that you can take advantage of on the web, strategies for getting more traffic to your site, and educate you on some of the newest things coming at all of us in the future (both good and bad).
We want to thank you all for giving us the business and support needed to help us succeed in a very cut-throat, competitive market and at the same time, helping you succeed on the web with your web sites. We realize that you could have chosen the millions of college students, overseas consultants, and newbies designing web sites today, but you chose Hot Web Ideas to create your online presence and we thank you for that. So far, we have been doing web sites for over 14 years.
In 2009 and 2010, we want to make your web site even better and that you continue to confide in Hot Web Ideas to make it happen. 2009, so far, has been a huge year for us as we have added even more value-added services for you. Even better, the last few years have been a major shift for web sites:
This year, we designed single page web sites to over 200 page web sites and no two web sites are the same.
In this blog, we will educate you, because all web site owners should know all they can about owning a web site. Think of Hot Web Ideas as your guide, your web site mentor, and your teacher. Nothing is too technical when you are trying to get people to your web site. The more you know about your web site, trust us, the better you will be in the long run, but our staff is here to help decipher anything that is too technical.
I love the bio! Enrepreneur junkie. In marketing positioning talk, that’s pretty unique. The term junkie means “addict”. So, can you say that Ed Entrepreneur is addicted to business success, in my opinion.
Ed is one of the few Twitterers who does not lace his Twitter profile with external links. Just good inspirational tweets to help people in personal branding and greetings to fellow Twitterers, and the web site at http://edentrepreneur.com/ reflects his good nature to entrepreneurs everywhere.
The real strength of Ed Entrepreneur is in his web site which I now visit frequently.
Ed’s three step method of
almost sounds like a shorted version of Napolean Hill’s Think And Grow Rich – and there is nothing wrong with that.
You need to check out this web site in more detail as he breaks down, what seems some of my favorite chapters of Napolean Hill’s Think And Grow Rich. I would love to see more quotes from EdEntrepreneur.com on Ed Entrepreneur’s Twitter profile. That would be the ultimate, but either way, I am subscribed to the web site.
I suggest that everyone comes to this web site to check some of these pages. I now have a new hobby on Twitter of quoting some of these great lines on the web sites and directing a mention to @EdEntrepreneur to give him the proper credit, but either way, check out those web pages, he says some amazing and inspiring things like:
Now EdEntrepreneur is thinking of having a Weekly Favorite 100 Tweeters section and put the word out just today. I think he should. What do you think? Leave me a comment here and let Ed know.
I met Lenai Stewart at a local business networking meeting in Massapequa, New York (in Long island, about 40 miles east of NY City) and right away, she captivated me with her entusiastic charm.
I had just finished unveiling to the attendees my 60 second intro that we perform Twitter marketing and then Lenai walked in 10 minutes later, announcing that she, too, is on Twitter. My immediate reaction was “Oh no, she’s a Twitter gal and she missed my introduction.” So, I immediately handed her my sheet of paper that I do the Twitter marketing and backgrounds.
Now, as a proud follower of Lenai, she is on my “Favorite Twitterers” group that I created in Tweetdeck as her tweets are all about being proud, standing up for yourself, and changing your reality by changing your thinking.
My favorite tweets by Lenai’s are:
I have added her tweets to my favorites several times.
Lenai’s tweets make people think. She also retweets what she finds valuable to the Twitter community. So, I think Lenai is a good Twitterer to have on your follower list.

When I first saw Paul Carter Jr’s posts on my Twitter home page, I saw some interesting tweets with links to the web sites that took his tweets further. From tweet #1, Paul’s tweets are inspirational and if you are a business person, they are truly a must to read. Paul’s tweets hit home with such topics about:
He finds the most interesting blog posts from other authors and puts the links up on his Twitter profile. Some of the most inspirational tweets from Paul Carter Jr are:
When I write about on the most valuable Twitterers, I also visit the web site, if listed, from their Twitter bios. My visit to http://paulcarterjr.com provided me with a very inspirational blog post called My Twitter story: the phase one experience. –
This blog post talks about Paul’s experience with Twitter from the beginning. I identified with this post since my experience was the same. Is Twitter really valuable? Should I use this web site. After reading Paul’s post, I understand that a lot of people have the same impression of Twitter. It grows on them sooner or later.
I asked Paul what he thinks is the most valuable thing about Twitter and he said “Having the ability 2 join many conversations from people and the world, connecting w/ more people in less time, I think.“. Also, Paul sent me another DM on Twitter with this answer: “Having the ability to connect with more likeminded individuals in almost realtime is fascinating. Building real relationships“.
